❛Ay Mi Madre❜ – it was a scorching afternoon in Santiago de Cuba when I spotted this curious mother and son duo in the distance. They turned down a suburban street corner and in my dusty flip flops I raced to find them.
This is a striking and impactful image, suitable for all spaces. It lives above the fireplace in my Makers’ home. I worked hard for this portrait – it is my most treasured.
